What to expect.....
During regular meetings, we have a short period for business, once everyone gets settled down. While the time is schedule is 7 pm start, we might start a few minutes late while members are busy showing off their finds since they last met. Next is a program and could be any number of things on education, collecting, and other hobby related interest. All this usually ends around 8 before or take and then we do our free drawings where members contribute to the "table" and start eating snacks that members take turns bring in as well. We are all cleaned up and out of the building by 9 pm. Members, If you need information on dates for picnic or Christmas Party, or even what the program is for that month, or any other questions you may have... contact an officer. Officers are on the front of the newsletter or you can respond to one of the club emails. |

Members like to show off their recent finds when they go digging of find something they really like. Most meetings, we have a presentation of some sort. In the past there has been wire wrapping projects, how to demonstrations, videos, various types of mineral presentations, History of Gold Mining in NC, etc.
In the summer the club has a Rock Swap and Picnic among it's members. It is always a fun time and always plenty of food and socializing.
